Here we go again

Last year I decided to try blogging....I wrote a few blogs and then thought who would want to read what I have to say about being pro-life and about what we all think in the pro-life arena; and in being post-abortive. Well, at the encouragement of a few friends, and in talking with other women and men, about this, it seems there is a great need for it. Abortion is something that is still not talked about enough....it lurks in our church pews, it is in all families it seems, it is a deep dark secret that needs to be talked about...talked about in the light of forgiveness and mercy and love. We are all sinners. Do you think it should be talked about more than it is....let me know what you think?

  1. Mary, thank you for your powerful witness of God's love and mercy and the absolute value of every human life!

For many of us, your testimony has helped us to understand both the suffering women can experience after an abortion and the healing which God can give everyone, no matter what their own sin may be. I think many women who have suffered because of abortion wonder if anyone else cares, if anyone else feels the way they do, if God can REALLY forgive them and heal their hearts. I have heard this same struggle with several friends - and these are the ones who have found healing and often speak out from the pro-life side of the fence. I truly believe there are so many others who suffer in silence.

The numbers would tell us that we all know mothers and fathers who have aborted babies - over 50 million babies aborted, a number which equates to 1 in every 4 women. May we all honor and value the dignity of their lives as well, while we continue to speak out for the children who have no voice.
